Man, 1/3rd of the way in and there are sooooo many errors already... Like talking about Yamauchi's reaction to the "Gamecom" name several facts before actually introducing the fact it was going to be called that, using SMB3's manual as an example of a statement made about SMB1 talking about the potential Atari connection without mentioning how it fell through then bringing up Balloon Fight in the same fact without mentioning that it was a retool of what was originally supposed to be an atari Joust port, talking about how the console was meant to look 'cool' then talking about how its designer designed it as 'boring', implying the sound capabilities in general allowed things like the Punch-out cheers when that was specifically the samples channel alone, showing the American NES for the "Yamauchi thought the ejection mechanism would be fun" bit when that specifically is only relevant to the Japanese Famicom and the NES's is totally different and necessary due to how the system was made horizontally-loading... and more I don't even feel like remembering. Oh, and not to mention that TWICE you talked about SNES games in relation to NES tech, such as Mario Kart in reference to the NES' color limitations and F-ZERO, a game that came out nearly a decade after the Famicom's launch, as the inspiration for how they figured out scrolling techniques for the Famicom (????) -- it's at this point I had to stop watching. Seriously, I like the idea of these fact videos but time and time again you guys screw things up and seem to rush these out without really taking the time to give them quality assurance. At least *some* of your viewers aren't hyperactive preteens and will actually pay attention, you know?

Also ,early nes carts did had 5 screws,the later cartride revisions did had only 3 screws in it. The most interesting thing was the hardware limitations of the nes for wich game developers dit get around by using clever hardware tricks forbetter graphics & sound, gameplay and longer game sessions. Without enhancement chips, nes games would,ve be not so impressive.

Nah, Nintendo won that case, also that was the reason why Tengen's version of Tetris was taken off store shelves in favor of Nintendo's version. Nintendo did lost the case against Galoob for trying to prevent Game Genie usage on the NES.

Voan Siam No, Tengen won as reverse engineer it wasn't considered by the judge a patent infringement. But as Nintendo still control the system software (devs make the game, Nintendo approve it and produce the carts them self to keep a tight leech) they decided to take off Tengen games as a retaliation.

Vanessa Pucca The case of reverse engineer was legal but that wasn't in favor to Tengen as it was a common practice in every tech device. Tengen lost cause they illegally make duplicates of Nintendo's 10NES chip which was use to bypass the NES security lockout. The cease of Tengen games are not a retaliation, it's a consequence of the appeal. Eventually Tengen end support for the NES and jump shift to the Genesis/Mega Drive where they had a much better relationship as Sega wasn't as harsh about license legality.

The picture of the arcade at 7:34 shows an arcade cabinet for Mega Man Xtreme 2, which was a Game Boy Color game. If that's not weird enough, the art on the control panel is from MMX Command Mission. ....What the _hell_ is going on with that cabinet?! It must be homemade, but why the heck would you make an arcade cabinet for a Game Boy game that's an inferior port of some SNES games when you could just make an arcade cabinet of the SNES games themselves? Nintendo did actually patent the D-Pad design so to get around that, the D-Pad design on other controllers don't have an actual D-Pad, their of their own design. But the Patent recently expired, that's why the XBOX ONE controller has an actual D-Pad.
