More like 10 minutes mate. It literally takes like 5 minutes to get to Clank. Combine that with the cutscenes and you probably get around 10 minutes. On the PS4 version it's probably somewhere around 20-30 minutes

Slight clarification to the "Ratchet & Clank uses the Jak & Daxter engine" fact, which isn't as you stated. The R&C engine was made by Insomniac, but it does make use of several renderers that were made by Naughty Dog, which allowed them to create the huge vistas in the game. Clearly not the same thing, and Ted Price gave a quote about it: "We've always developed all our own technology. It's been a little frustrating in the past for us to hear people say, 'Oh yeah, the Insomniac game is running on the Naughty Dog engine.' People assumed that we were using Naughty Dog's engine for Ratchet, and that was not true. We shared some technology with Naughty Dog way back when, and that was great, but we are a company that puts stock in developing specialized technology and we will continue to do so."

Fun Fact: In Ratchet And Clank (PS4) when upgrading your weapon trees with raratanium, look closely at certain trees. The R.Y.N.O's is shaped like a skull and crossbones (seeing that it reigns death as the most OP weapon) and the Combuster has one shaped like a stereotypical ray gun shape. It's a cute little visual Easter Egg that I had noticed when snagging the applicable trophy and I don't know if any Easter Egg hunting channels on YT ever picked it up.

Man after playing the ratchet and clank remake on ps4, I was left angry and upset that they didn’t tap back into the original games innuendoes and actually funny humour... instead it was endless dry humour followed with 30fps gaming, while the original ran 60fps lol... all the glossy graphics in the world don’t make a game good without having a good story to back it up... this latest ratchet and clank just made me want to go back to the roots of the game and get stuck into the badass attitude ratchet used to have and clanks brainy comments... sorry for the rant, I could go on but yes I hope they remaster the original trilogy and others with it but I doubt it as well!!!

R&C 3 and R&C a crack in time are my all time favorites. They are the most full games I've ever played and there is just a sense that this is a huge massive world. It's the games I recomend for an introduction but if you can. Play them ALL. I love them all. I just never got into the 4all and full frontal games. I lived into the nexus. It's a shorter game but you get every dollars worth. The new PS4 remake has been my kind of new go to to get my nieces and nephews introduce to Ratchet and Clank. I still hold the original to my heart but it is outdated compared to newer games. I think they did a fantastic job modernizing the remake of RAC 1. I love the addition of Dr Nefarious to the remake. Hes a great villain and its nice to see him appear. Some of my favorite parts of RAC games are like the desert in number 2. The Sewers in number 3. The huge large levels where you just have to wander around and collect Crystal's of some kind and sell it to a guy at the gate. In every game if you collect all of them you unlock something secret. I love it when you're wondering around and its quiet and then BAM a giant monster pops out of the ground or something. In a crack in time, my favorite part is flying around the different galaxies and seamlessly landing on the micro planets to collect secret stuff . Ratchet and Clank is one of the greatest game franchises ever made. I feel like it came at a perfect time. Crash Bandicoot was on top of the PS1. But when the pS2 was coming out, sony knew they needed something new and perfectly different and sci fi from Crash Bandicoot. Ratchet and Clank was everything I wanted out of the PS2 and I hope it continues past playstation 5
