I'm guessing the tempo changes were intentional - you're too good for them to be sloppiness. No one asked me but I really enjoyed the faster tempo (it felt right) and I noticed the song "rumbled" more in the final third - you played it like the rock song it is and it left the countryish/singer-songwriter territory it began as behind!!! Really terrific!

You need to mix that 12 string in a bit stronger and make it jangly as hell - like Roger McGuinn jangly. THAT and the rock steady drums/bass is what makes the song! Other than that, pretty good.
