burnt SMD capacitor needs Length x width (in inches) to find inch code, and hieght as well length x width (in mm) to get metric code. and height measuremnt then we need to get package code after that we can find its capacitance from above three values

Sir how you put black lead to chassis as ground and red lead you measure the voltage across the circuit. Does chassis is a common ground.

same principle is applicable to all type of capacitors just we need to take special care for voltage, ESR value, working temperature and polarity

Hello sir I saw a video of your about smps welder you mentioned that the capacitor to the gate to source is use to discharge the gate but I realize that you most had made a mistake because it’s use to driver the igbt when the gate driver transformer cannot provided enough current the capacitor is use as a buffer for the igbt to fully charge
