man i love this song... it's so sweet. it sucks that people bicker over it. to borrow hisokee's words, i see the twins as actors rather than canonical characters. they're just playing a part, which is being in love for this song. then, in another song, they play the role of siblings. even though i believe the characters themselves are highly advertised and presented as twins, at the end of the day they're just two instruments provided by the same singer. focus on the song's quality, not the canonical voices

Excuse me for a moment while I send this to my crush. Edit Feb. 11, 2024: So I realized I left this comment 7 years ago with no update, so I guess I'll share what I can remember. I think I was in middle school around that time and this person was my first IRL crush, but I probably chickened out in sending this to them. Stayed friends, but then things kinda fell off pretty rough and that wasn't even involving any romantic feelings. I later realized I mostly preferred friendship and having family around, and sadly my brain has been wired since toddler age to like fictional characters more.
