Ever since Hillis came to Cleveland he was my favorite player and still is. he is a great player and I hope the Giants give him a chance this season cuz he can be a game changing runningback and can be a top 10 RB in the NFL.

i'm a big giants fan and he's their 3rd best RB even with david wilson getting hurt. i love hillis but hes nowhere near what he used to be and is barely a top 50 RB in the NFL, let alone top 10

Sadly, he's the 3rd back for the Giants now. A far cry from the Madden cover days. But he's quality and did a good job for the G-Men last year. Glad we kept him. He is a goal line machine, but we need to use him. None of this once in a blue moon BS. We have 3 power RB's. It'll work if we use all 3.

The Browns could've had Peyton Hillis & Trent Richardson as two powerhouse RBs :) Trent is not really a downhill RB, he's actually more a 3rd down pass and run guy. He does well with one - one match ups in the open field because he's too elusive for LB and too strong for DBs.

I don't remember all that went down, but how can you blame the guy as a RB, and a power RB at that? His position has the smallest shelf life of an NFL player, plus he is more of a fullback with RB skills (meaning more punishment). Guy probably wanted to get paid before his career was over.

Browns idiotically refused to pay him a million dollars a year after he proved he was a star. This caused him to pull shit acting like he was sick, making up lies to lower Free Agency value etc. Overall performing poorly on purpose to protest. He ended up losing all his motivation for the game, causing him to go down in the dirt with two-three more mediocre seasons before quitting the NFL all together.

Denver fans were calling for Hillis to start, McDaniels was constantly asked at press conferences why Hillis wasn't playing, and there was a rumor Hillis was hitting on McDaniels wife but it's unconfirmed. McDaniels really knows how to destroy a franchise but Denver rebounded quick with the Von Miller pick.
