This movie is very touching. At first I was thinking it's just a movie but at the end I learn it's a true story of a very brave girl. An unconditional love of a man to his daughter. The nice nurses ,doctors and the many kindhearted people who help. Her classmates, teachers and most of all the children who suffered at an early age because of sickness. This afternoon I went to the Russian Embassy to pay my respects to the victims of the 23 March 2024 concert massacre; such an inhumane act of violence and hatred that we are becoming to know too well. This evening I came to this film entirely by accident and it was good for me and it ease the pain to know that such a film can be made. It is fiction but it is not a fantasy that many ordinary people around the world care and can care and so the film serves restores my faith in humanity. I know the little girl is in heaven now. There will be no more tears and pain for her. I cried so many times and think of my work for my impoverished clients. I always do my best for my clients in the course of my work, especially the impoverished clients. I never forget that the poorest client I had was an elderly man who cried after receiving an insurance cheque of an interim payment of 5000 for his accident injuries. He was so grateful for our help and said that he was so poor that he had no money to take a bus to our office and he had to ask his friend to accompany him and pay for his bus fare to our office. However, he was killed a few days or weeks later in a fight. Apparently he was a gangster and somehow his gangster mannerisms irked another gangster, hence the fight erupted. I remember another case where a Malaysian client was dismissed by his heartless singapore employer after sustaining an open fracture to one of his legs. He nearly lost his leg because a heartless singapore hospital refused to let him continue his medical consultation consultation as he had no money to pay for his prior 6k plus hospitalisation bill and we had to strive hard to obtain an interim payment for his medical consultations and treatments. This world is full of heartless and good people but what is important is whether we help others when people approach us for genuine help. This kind and selfless little girl has taught us a precious lesson in life - care for the sick and the poor around us and help them when we can.
