There are great movies and then there are some movies that even transcend that category. This is one of those movies. Amazing movie, and kudos to the team that made this! Will be recommending it to every person I know (immigrant or not). 🙏🙏

Is it based on a book or something? there's already a band called Riceboy sleeps featuring Jonsi of Sigur Ros.

Probably just a coincidence. The Riceboy Sleeps album is called that because Alex Somers (the other guy in the band along with Jonsi) would eat a lot of rice when he was a poor student in university.
