Saw the original band on 17 February 1976 at Hammersmith Odeon in London. A great music venue in the day. It was between the albums Original Soundtrack and How Dare You. It was a great concert which covered their back catalogue plus as then unheard songs from How Dare You. I was lucky to hear the golden era of 10cc before they broke up after How Dare You. Glad to hear people are still enjoying their music today.

Been listening since 1975, St.Louis, Missouri. Early songs were fun, and entertaining, Godley & Creme and Stewart & Gouldman! They finally got there own cd box set in January 2024, 1972-1992, 15 disc. ✈️🕰🎶🎸🎹🎷🥁🎵

@ I am not very good at emojis but I think the first two are a reference to Clockwork Creep. Though the first one could be for I’m Mandy Fly Me which has a segment of Clockwork Creep at the beginning. I bought 10cc first album after watching them perform Donna on top of the pops. TOTP was our main source of music with some great acts as well as the dodgy ones. Those were the days.

This band were awesome 40 years ago when I first saw them as a young lad,at The Globe Stockton the other night,they are still one of they best and tightest bands out on the circuit 👍✌️

My first vinyl purchase was '10cc' by 10cc, back in the year dot. The extended version of 'Art' was always a Tour highlight.

Brilliant 🥹🤗...!! Absolutely brilliant ... I only know of one 10cc song and that's on one of my dad's 45singles called I'm not in love .... from about 1975.... This band sounds more like Pink Floyd now .... with an incredible sound .... I'd LOVE to have been here for this outstanding performance....

Just sounds like a tribute band.

Ive thought about going to see this version for a few years but, your right, it is like a tribute band no matter how talented they are . If Eric was with them so it was at least half of 10cc id probably go

Tribute to what, excellent musicianship?
@marksanders365925 күн бұрын
Graham Gouldman founding member. Rick Fenn and Paul Burgess joined in 1976. All 3 played on their 1978 number one UK single Dreadlock Holiday. So it isn’t really a tribute band, is it?

First thing caught my eye was lack of the infuriating mobile phone pointers that appear at every gig these days, obviously the footage here was taken on one, but at least the whole audience refrained, probably an age thing, not much going on in the crowd movement at all, are they seated?
@jonezy365Ай бұрын
@Belfast-Biccy All seated. I'd say the average age of the crowd was definitely over 50s. You could tell by the number of toilet trips ppl made! Rubber bullets got everyone out of their seats. Brilliant gig.

Not quite, but Rick Fenn on guitar and the drummer have been in the band for over 45 years. In fact, their drummer was in the band as a touring drummer when Godley and Creme were still in the band.
