The meaning of this song is so clear to me, it's about a man in denial about his love for a girl. Like that picture on the wall - it's just there to hide a stain? Yeah right. Eric may have had other motives in mind, but this is what comes over so strong. That is the fascinating thing about art, you might have an idea but it is others who interpret that idea that matter.

Rex Mundi They were not being challenged creatively. They went on to make some brilliant sounds. Not commercial at all. But that's who Godley and Crene were. They knew themselves and had to be free.

Don't think it'll ever happen, but who knows. In recent years Kevin Godley has done some guest appearances with the current version of 10cc, maybe Lol Creme might be up for it. But I don't think Stewart will ever return to the band again. Apparently the falling out that Stewart and Gouldman had in '95 was much more serious than was told. The two haven't spoken since Eric officially left the band in '96.

I like the melody and music very much. Beautiful, original song and music video. The singers and the musicians are babes and handsome, positive influencers indeed. But, the lyrics are extremely sad and disappointing, very subtractive, not Godly, in particular. I much prefer the upbeat songs, like "The Things We Do For Love." Thank you.
