It may seem odd, but I find the sound and smell of aircon very comforting. When I was a kid, I would often stay with my grandma inside her office, I would just silently play in one corner where the aircon is being placed. I would always directly place my face right where the air would come out and smell the air then I will imagine cold places like mountains, icy seas ♥ the simple sound and smell of aircon just takes me back to my worry free childhood days ☁

Been going through a really tough time recently, trying to appreciate the smaller things in life and remember how peaceful things seemed back when I was younger. This is helping me go back to those summer days where the next adventure was only a sleep away. Oddly satisfying but It is helping me drown out all the negative thoughts I have when trying to sleep. Here we are again back in the children’s hospital for the third time in just over a month. My poor son, his lungs keep collapsing from common respiratory viruses. We have been listening to this oscillating fan every night for weeks while here in the ICU. All of the medical staff that come in his hospital room think it is a real fan that we brought in. ❤ 😴 💤 🥱 So as you lay there relaxing listening to this, you never know what others are going through out there. Count your blessings. 🙏🏻 Goodnight all!

The fan always remind me those years with my grandma when we stayed spending time together…the weather always hot (I’m from South America but I live in Italy since 2012) she had that big fan and I don’t know why but I just feel something inside.. it brings me back in some way to my grandma’s house, it makes me feel so cozy.. I used to sleep in a room with an oscillating fan as a baby, and now it's really hard to fall asleep without a fan or some sort of fan noise. What makes it difficult is I don't have and actual fan anymore and what makes me sleep is the sound of the fan's humming. Thank you for this! It really helps me sleep. I got the idea for sleeping to an Oscillating Fan when I went to my Grandparent’s house in Vermont, and they had this old Oscillating Fan in there because there’s no A/C. It has such a distance sound, and there’s nothing quite like it but this! Hopefully the next time I go back up there, I’ll ask to bring down that fan so I don’t have to drain down my phone battery on this video!
