You really seem like you have lots of fun doing this & I appreciate the effort. I'm trying really hard to sell myself on why i should use AI or "automated transformations" when it's still just as much work & a human STILL has to make sure it's correct before posting. Making sure the AI really did choose the best clips is a job all in itself...manually, I could do all this in like 8 mins. Your audience must be big companies with a budget who don't have someone in-house...?

Fantastic video and really well done! I've recreated this and needed to convert the video to an mp3 which helped a ton with the data usage cap Make has, but I've hit the data transfer cap after only using 2% of my monthly allotted steps. Are there better platforms to use this automation on that won't hit that data transfer cap? I'm looking into self-hosting an n8n instance, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for the video!

Zapier can upload large files to GDrive, but you can always upgrade your plan, or use self hosted n8n of course.

Why do you use a webhook instead of using a MAKE trigger to watch records?

because otherwise Make.com will use "operations" to constantly check Airtable for new records. This way you don't waste make "operations" and the trigger is INSTANT, fast and responsive. You could use the airtable trigger it would just waste operations, especially if you checked every minute.

Hi could you help me how the APIs work, I mean could you explain to me the results I could get depending on different applications I use on make's site there are very few details, I mean only a few words to describe each of the triggers of each application, There is no make scenario generator? I'm getting stuck at the transcribe the video step with chatgpt step. I'm using a 42 second video clip but it says the maximum content exceeded. I have a paid subscription with gpt 4 and loaded the api with funds on the back end. I tried adding cloudconvert between google drive and whisper to turn it to an mp3 and it seems to make it through that fine but gets stuck at chatgpt again. What might I be missing or doing wrong here?

@@StephenGPope Thanks Stephen. My apologies. I explained that in a confusing way. When the video goes from google drive module to the chat gpt module it fails to produce a transcript. When I do it the way you showed it produces this error "The operation failed with an error. [413] Maximum content size limit (26214400) exceeded (26467092 bytes read)" Does this perhaps mean I need to upgrade my plan? I tried a few different things but keep getting stuck at the chat gpt part. I get a few different ones when trying to run it through cloudconvert to get an mp3. It gets through that module but still gives me errors at chat gpt.

there will always be an edge where SaaS platforms don't do what is needed. A lot of SaaS platforms are cool but they can't do everything and there will always be room for custom!

As someone who has run a SaaS business for more than a decade, one major thing I have learned: software is not interesting to customers unless it does everything by itself - which no software does. Make, Airtable, OpenAI are cool, but they are of no use unless you spend hours upon hours learning how to use them and how to solve issues. That's what experts are for and that's where the actual value is in the long run.
