You give very detailed information. Over the past two days, I have been trying to get good information on the storm. Out of as many as 50 videos and sites that I tried to get info from. Only two times Did I go away feeling I had gotten enough Info so as to base my decisions on where to go. They were both your videos. Everyone kept saying to evacuate. But until I came across you. I didn't know where to go. I needed to get my work van and trailer safe so I could continue to earn a living after the storm. I'm resting comfortably in Drifton Florida now watching to see if I might need to move more west. If I had lost the Van, Trailer, and tools there would have been no reason to survive the storm. Thank you so much.

With all due respect, the original cone was egregiously wrong. Only the European models were correct, and they were originally the outliers. The center of the cone was far west of the actual path, and most of the models were centered on the FL bend or west.

Not the ones after it passed Cuba as it got closer and Hurricanes tend to shift right from the west and west from the east and this one shifted north east as expected

@@DarkCode No. The opposite. It made landfall below Lake Okeechobee. That's my point. And it made landfall at 149MPH, Cat. 4 storm, rather than hitting up north (FL bend) as a Cat 5 storm as most of the models predicted.

Why is it that the first forecast was like showing it as Cat 2 hitting with Cat 1? I am not a meteorologist but knew immediately it will be a cat 3 or 4. The global warming and very warm ocean water with no landmass before approach to slow it down is a no brainer. I hope its not Cat 5 after all. Good luck Floridians...I pray for you all.

Not really,central Florida was always a threat and even thought category 4 is almost 5 l, they did say it would hit around 3 or 4
