I’m with you in that I’m still not used to the idea that they are no longer at SNZ. I saw a video showing them entering their quarantine enclosures at Shenshuping base in China. Tian seemed to be relaxed and ate bamboo right away. Mei was cautious about her new environment but remained calm and composed. XQJ seemed a bit nervous at first. Hope they all will settle in quickly.

@@suho-scorpio9471 They went back to China on 11/8, and are currently in quarantine at Shenshuping base that belongs to China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda

I watch his videos from China everyday. I'm happy he is doing so well, gets lot of loves from his daddy Wang and mommy Lang, and is very healthy. Even though, I think he was happier in America. In the Smithsonian Zoo, he had much more land to run and play, he had tons of enrichment toys, trees that he loves to climb, indoor and outdoor big swimming pools, 3 large indoors area, supervision 24/7 (camaras), personal in the zoo 24h.... His areas were designed according of his needs (visitors had to adapt to his schedule and the activities he desire to do (if he wanted to hide in a tree to take a nap, that was fine with everyone). For what I see in his videos ( of course, is only a little bit what we can see) he had much more in America. It worries me, a lot XQJ's redecoration of his backyard at night. No one knows how he do that. Which means that nobody is watching him at night time. 😮 How about if one morning he is found seriously injure? 😢 Please, don't take me wrong... He has great care in China, his keepers loves him, he is growing well and gaining weight, he is well fed, and is very healthy. Im just saying that in America he looked so happy 24/7, he was supervised all day long to secure his safety, and he had more mental and physical stimulation. I don't know if I'm thinking and acting like an over protected mom. I love Xiao Qi Ji sooooo much! ❤

I cannot agree with you more 1000%! I know they take good care of him but he grew up with swimming pools, a lot of land and huge trees to play with! Qi Ji has nothing in China! makes me sad he just eat and rest! have yet to see him so playful! I also have heard from other youtuber that Qi Ji is rare to see outside as he often choose to stay inside.. This is not Qi Ji we know!

Glad you managed to see them again just before they left the next day. It was quite unexpected and sad to see that there were many who specially went on that day to see the pandas for 1 more time, some even travelled for a long journey, but left disappointed 😔😔 But i guess it is necessary to keep the departure date low profile for the safety and security of the pandas and the staff involved. It just seems so surreal that they are no longer at SNZ and just seems like yesterday that i just started to follow MX-TT-XQJ. Very sad that they left their happy home at SNZ, but wish them all the best in their new place. Thank you once again for sharing them with us 😇😇 曲终人（熊）散，美好回忆不会散 ❤️

Yeah I feel sorry for those who came far to visit them on the departure day. Hope those people at least got some comfort in being able to witness their departure and say goodbye to them. I was at the zoo most of the days in recent weeks since I wanted to be able to see them as much as I could. There was kind of unusual atmosphere on 11/07 since the early morning. I think most if not all keepers were there(they normally take shifts). They all participated in feeding them treats, and took photos when they had the opportunities. Media came later in the day taking videos and doing interviews. They closed the outdoor and indoor enclosures at slightly later times etc. Even though they didn’t announce the departure date at the time, a lot of us sensed that it must have been the final day.

I see…yeah…believe that the keepers would like to spend as much time with them as possible, given that they may not see them again after they left 😥😥 i feel for the keepers as they must be feeling the worst having to say goodbye to the pandas after taking care of them for so many years and given their heart and dedication to them ❤️ these few months have not been easy for them too with those nasty stories made up about them by those netizens with their own agenda. Happy that you and other panda fans have managed to visit them as much as possible before their departure and take care!! 😇😊

I miss the pandas so much. They had such great lives in DC. Cheej had a blast with his activities and toys! Your Auld Lang Syne music makes me want to cry. Sweet video! ❤️

Yeah, we all miss them. I saw some official photos/videos that the SNZ keepers brought some toys for them. Hope XQJ might get the opportunity to use his old toys a bit during the transition.
