11-15-2024 Fort Worth, TX - 2 alarm fire damages newly opened restaurant

Shortly after 12pm Friday, Fort Worth Fire was dispatched to the corner of Heritage Trace and N Riverside for a possible commercial structure fire. When engine 37 arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building and quickly filling the interior. An interior fire attack began while crews attempted to extinguish the fire from the rear exterior and even the roof. The fire eventually made its way into the chimney where it was put out shortly. A 2nd alarm was called due to the size of the building and not knowing if the fire was spreading.
