Water bottles. Some plastics will absorb sterident flavour. Some uncooked rice a spot of detergent will clean out mouldy bottles rinse and they are good to go. Additionally, just don't sore any bottle with the cap on. Both these tips I learnt in the army 30 yr ago

Hi Dave. Thank you for that great advice. Although I have never let any of my bottles go mouldy the information is one for the toolbox. Stay safe. ATB. Nigel

I've never had stinky water bottles. Not sure what I am doing right. Dump it out and leave it on the draining board in the sun? 4 Feet dry in Canada. Carry both fresh socks and several microtowels. When you go through the snow into the water you should have waterproof shoes or boots on and thick socks. Remove, get safe, pull off out of the wind. Stuff the microtowel into the shoe/boot. Use the other to dry the foot. Put a sock on. Pull out the microtowel and resume the hie. After the foot warms up, takes a while, remove, dry, and replace with the other dry sock. 6. Get a BioLite kettle pot stove. You never run out of fuel even in Canada in the Winter Great tips. Suggestions? Rename the videos when they are up for a bit so the numbers correspond to the titles and have the next 10 video at the end to click on.

Hi Cat. Thank you once again for watching and commenting. I don't have smelly waterbottle but I have come accross a number of them - ususlly on issue from stores or in a surplus shop. Thank you for the grat infomation about drying feet and keeping warm. As you know we have differnt conditions overe here hence the fishing boots. Most of the 10 suggestions videos are in order but due to fat fingers they got out of sinc and I decided not to delete and repost. Stay safe. ATB. Nigel
