My heart goes out to Dave, the band and especially his family. RIP Taylor

This interview with Dave Grohl was so relatable to me in so many ways!! There are certain song that just instantly touch your mind, heart, body, and spirit. The song Make A Little Birdhouse In Your Soul by They might be Giants was my go to song when I was sad or depressed, and it always cheered me up. It's kind of like Sean said how certain music will just take you to the place and time you were at when you first heard the music. I have always had close connection with music. Like Dave, when I was younger I had a double cassette player, and I learned how to harmonize songs using my voice. Just an amazing interview!! Much love and respect from Texas.❤

Bateman and Arnett are two guys I wouldn't mind being stuck in an elevator with. You know you're just going to laugh for the next 2-6 hours.

Eventually you’d have to eat one of them though. Probably Arnett, if we’re being realistic.

I have always loved Dave Grohl, but to hear him say he just doesn't connect with country music -- my kindred, I have finally found you!

I'm from Evanston. I love hearing that Dave's "cool" cousin Tracie introduced him to punk rock

Sad to hear Dave recall how their world was turned upside down after Kurt’s death, and now it’s happened again. I hope he and the Foos are able to move forward after such a huge loss, and especially the loss of Dave’s best friend.

My mind is blown that Dave says "...I've just never clicked with the country." Meanwhile, he produced a amazing EP for Zac Brown Band at the early rise of the band; aptly named "The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1". He even played drums with them live, on their song "Day for the dead" on a country awards show that year, I believe it was 2013. He sure produced a great EP of country.

I never knew about this podcast, amazing group for my first listen and experience with it. But if you put a video camera up and shared it we'd definitely watch and listen. 🤘

After listening to most of their podcasts- no video is key. No one on the show wants to be seen! They don't care if anyone listens, everyone's independently wealthy.

I came here from listening to the podcast to leave a comment about how bad Sean’s questions are. I mean for fucks sake how could you possibly be dying to know if there’s an instrument he never learned that he wanted to or if nirvana thought they had something when they started like really?? That can only be a yes or no answer and of course he’s been asked if in a million interviews so it’s hard to believe you’re this giant fan who was dying to know these things if you didn’t learn them lmao I mean there’s an art to conversation, there should be some structure. It’s just insane to me Bc he’s such a talented guy I can’t imagine him sitting there thinking of a good question and something like “how did you feel when you started, good or bad about it” sticks out as a good one to ask
