Lately, we’ve been hearing so much about how difficult it is to immigrate to Canada, and honestly, it’s something many of us can relate to. But do you remember the recent announcement by the Canadian government about their 2025 plans? They mentioned allocating 40% of the immigration quota to those already studying or working inside Canada. Now, I know there’s no concrete detail yet. But even just hearing this news gives us a ray of hope in what can sometimes feel like an uphill journey. That’s why I believe it’s so important to start preparing now, while we still have time!

I am doing my PhD in energy engineering, in British Columbia, will the infocus immigration help me?

No one can say for sure what kind of immigration opportunities the In-Canada Focus Plan will offer, but it’s clear that priority will likely go to people who are already working in Canada. If you're pursuing a PhD, you should be able to work legally, so keep an eye on how the program develops. Of course, the first step is to make sure you're well-prepared to enter the Express Entry (EE) pool if you're eligible. or try to stick with your initial plan for example; PNP on your province.

그렇게 생각이 될수도 있지만, 이 폐지안의 배경 자체가 LMIA JOB OFFER의 사고 파는 사기를 근절하기 위함이고, 영프로는 인도애나 방글라데시 애들에게는 해당이 되지 않는 프로그램이니 영프 준비하는 친구들에게는 너무 부정적으로 흘러가지는 않을 거 같은 느낌이긴 해요. 물론 나와봐야아는 거지만요.

I have 2.5 years work experience as hotel front desk in Alberta. My eoi score is 61. Do i have good chance ?

Who knows? ;( They’ve only done it once with the new draw system, and it was at 66 points. The real question is how much the PNP allocation will change next year, isn’t it?
