11/25/23 Port Lincoln Ospreys: Waddles, Wingers, and Cuteness !

The nestlings are just as happy and healthy as can be. Giliath is 39 days old, and 'Two' is 37 days old. 'Two' will be assigned a name when its gender is determined at the time of banding.
The colored leg bands will enable us to tell the chicks apart, but the bands may not always be visible. Currently, Giliath is still bigger, and his/her feathering is at a slightly more advanced phase as it transitions toward full juvenile plumage.
Giliath’s dark top head patch is larger than Two's (Giliath's head overall is darker than Two's).
Giliath’s eye stripe is slightly thicker.
Giliath appears to have slightly thicker and longer ‘eyebrows’.
Their nape stripes are different...Two's is thinner and straighter, while Giliath’s nape stripe is broader and wider at the bottom of the stripe.
