The question Sam shouldn't be asking Is Danny going to hate Scout. The real question she should be asking is Will Scout still want her father in her life. Maybe not. She might not think it's fair that she got her Dad back and Danny's Dad is dead. She might push Drew away for that very reason. Because in her mind she's evening and balancing out the loss. In her mind, Danny can't have his Dad, so she shouldn't have her's either.

That's a very good observation. I just don't feel that child who's as young as she is would be able to feel or communicate those kind of emotions but I do think she'll feel uncomfortable around drew due to the amount of time that's passed but it's still a good observation and something I could see were she a bit older.
