🥷you’re very helpful to watch in action. I feel that my presentation is just chaotic and my activities are now 100% created on the fly. Do you come prepared? (Unsolicited advice, feel free to ignore) It might be really useful for the viewers to include some of the tasks/positions/ language in the titles of your video. I been doing this a little bit since a few weeks back on my own streams. 🎉

Sometimes I go in with no actual plan but I think things through before class and generally follow this schematic that I've gathered from Standard: Usually All Levels consists of 2 to 3 games for 2 to 3 scenarios (Standing, Guarded, Chest-to-Chest, or Chest-to-Back) with 6 or 10 minute rounds. Sometimes it's 10 minute rounds for each of them, doubling up on a situation, etc. Lately Competition is 2 games each for 3 scenarios (Standing Disconnected, Standing Connected, Grounded Connected) for 3-5 minute rounds. The final round is an additional format like first to score, first to submit, neutral scrambles, etc. Mostly to push the pacing and urgency, once there's more people I'll probably do groups of three or mess with them psychologically. Eventually I'd like to go off what's immediately in front of me and whatever people need, sometimes I'll have a lesson or theme then ignore it to work on my improvising. I think the hardest part of working on the fly for me is being able to assess what's in the room, then quickly and clearly adjust. When it comes to titles I struggle with walking the line between conceptual abstractions and, "Games for 'X'". Going forward I'll at least timestamp each situation, we finally started filming short-form content and it's harder than expected lol.

@@SpiralBJJ nice title! When I think of creating my title I try to put it in the language that average grapplers might use so that they can find the video based on their own words. Or walking the line between the two

@ yeah maybe too abstract 😂. I don’t even think I want to push this channel, it’s mostly for the students and critiquing my coaching. Maybe I’ll create a paywall for refined things when I’m not majorly stressing over every single practice.

@ I feel you on the stress part. I’m gonna have to make a separate yt channel as a class resource but I’m just too lazy to manage them. It’s definitely messing up my subscribers KZbin algorithms
