Congratulations. I've never had White Castle because there's none around here. We mostly just have McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and Duchess. In fact, Sonic opened their first location here just a few years ago. My friend and I went, it was nothing special. Funny story: One time, he saw Sonic advertise new burgers for a cheap price so he wanted to try them. Not only did they turn out to be about half the size of regular burgers, I asked them to hold the mayo (I hate mayo on burgers) and they charged me an extra $0.50 for customizing my burger! I can see charging extra if you want to ADD something special, but charging you to leave off an ingredient? Screw that!

I don't have any nearby Krystal or White Castle, but I can get lame frozen White Castle from the grocery store's freezer section. HOWEVER, I am easily satisfied. For me, frozen White Castle is adequate. I do get Krystal when going on an interstate trip and have the chance, but I have never even considered peeling them.

Congratulations! Eating around old computers? Back when I was in college (drat - over 35yrs back now) had a lecturer who seemed quite old, but I guess was my age now. Clearly missed the days when he’d have been allowed to smoke his pipe while lecturing. Congrats on your most recent power of two! I'm not sure that -White Castle-, err, Crystal's would be my first choice when in Memphis. There used to be a bar on Beale that served wet BBQ that was great. But that was in the early 90's. :) But there are any number of local (aka hole in the wall) grocery stores here in Tennessee that serve a hot plate lunch, all of which are usually awesome.
