I spent half an hour trying to choose an audiobook for my stitching. Failed miserably, got frustrated, and came to my safe space - your swm :))) Thank you!

This is the best compliment one could receive! It warms my heart to know that I was able to cheer up your day and stitching time :) Thank you very much!

I am following because I love the way you are starting your threads. Putting a small knot on both ends. Then I do a loop start with the knot. I find I have less problem with fraying or the thread looking worn since I am working both sides at once.

I started doing that method with the Dimensions kits, since they are known to have stiff Aida and weaker threads, and it was so much more comfortable for me that I transitioned how I start my thread to most project by now. Only exception is when the fabric is thiner or delicate and I would rather not have a whole bunch of little knots on the back.

This year I am working on three wips. One is Super sized Baloon Sunrise, and Marvelous Garden both from HAED. And a small one for when I am in the living room.

heyyy great video as always! i started a new cross stitch charted by scalet quince! the artwork is by alphonse mucha it's one of his moet and chandon piece, the cremant imperial one. it's also my biggest project with a bit less than 90 000 stitches! i'm really loving it it's almost only stitched with blended threads so prepping the floss drops was a hassle ahah but it's turning out amazing!

I am working on a Thomas Kinkaid, Pools of Serenity. I probably have another year of work to do at least.
