Since you asked, my seemingly "dumbest" idea that worked: I needed to put a sealant product into my transmission fluid reservoir; but it was already full with transmission fluid. The proper way to remove the fluid is to take off the pan, which requires taking some things apart and is a pain. Alternatively, I could've used a hose to siphon some of the liquid out, but that risked getting the disgusting, toxic substance in my mouth. Or I could've purchased a siphon pump to remove the liquid- but that would've required spending money. Well, when sitting in my truck, debating on what to do, I realized that the pump bottle of hand sanitizer which I kept in my truck was empty; and when I went to replace it with a new bottle from inside my house, I thought of how the pump worked and my brilliant idea was born! I thoroughly cleaned the empty pump and bottle and then placed the "straw" end of the pump into the transmission fluid reservoir. Then, holding the empty bottle under the spout of the pump, I pressed down on the top of the pump and, just like pumping sanitizer from a bottle into a hand, the transmission fluid was pulled from the reservoir and pumped straight into the waiting, empty bottle! It allowed me to remove small amounts at a time, ultimately culminating in enough empty space in the reservoir to introduce the sealant solution! So while it _sounded_ dumb in theory, it's perfect functionality made it certifiably genius! Not to mention how quick it made the whole process! And it allowed for proper disposal of the corrosive liquid! I call that "win, win, and more win", in my book! 🤷🏻‍♀️😜😂😂

I would say one of the dumbest ideas I’ve had was shooting a arrow straight up in the air about 65 to 98 feet high and catching it. I did it several times and it worked several times. Although it nearly hit directly into my foot

#10 isn’t a dumb idea. Why do you think sailors wore bell bottoms? Because their pants could be used as a PFD if they didn’t have a life vest. You could fill up more air in the extra fabric of the bell bottoms, therefore giving you more chance than the average pair of pants.

The pant life jacket thing was taught to us in the sert school as an add on class. Instead of pants we use a field jacket. It really does work.
