I think it depends on the extensions you get, some brands are more likely to cause it than others and how you put them in can also affect thinning too, hope this helps even though it’s a month late!

She Probably doesn't mention it because clip ins are used to avoid breakage that is caused when using sewn in or glued extensions. Although clip ins can be somewhat damaging if worn too often or incorrectly, they are a MUCH Healthier choice for your hair.
