In the first story, just say "NO! Leave us alone." in a decisive tone and then 2 things could happen. Either he backs off, or he starts to get violent. If he does, then great, you're in a crowded place. No worries. If this story is real (it doesn't really matter if it's real or not because it is a possible scenario) then the guy is probably one of the creeps who don't leave you alone until you give them a decisive final answer. Don't feel bad about his feelings because he clearly doesn't think about your feelings.
