"Drugs" made a huge difference for me. I mean antidepressants. For about 2 decades I took 40mg/day of paroxetine until I didn't feel it was working any more. Tried a few different ones and settled on duloxetine because it also helps with leg pain which I was having, and also added bupropion. I believe there is a medication or medications which, at the right dose, can make a huge difference for anyone in need. Finding the right therapist is also important. If at first you don't succeed, keep trying!

I did like you and started psilocybin. After a week I was off my antidepressant cymbalta. There are lots of studies on this and lots of KZbin videos. It is used for severe depression. June 21st, 2023 7:30pm central time, meditation vision/memory There was once a Creature of Night, far back in ancient times. Deep in the frozen lands of distant past, a pack of wolves made their home within a large dense forest. There they grew his pack and strengthened his dominance on the lower creatures around him. The Alpha Wolf, strong of will, bowed to no one and ruled his forest of Darkness with fear and without challenge. One day, after many moons had past, a Child of Light came to the forest. Upon his arrival, the lowly creatures began taking refuge in the light. The wolves would attack the man at night but would be chased away by the mans light. The Alpha wolf was very angry that this man was disrupting the Darkness with his light. This man of light was a fierce hunter and began snatching the prey of wolves at every turn. For one moon this went on, and the wolves were beginning to starve and the weak among them would soon die. The Alpha wolf was furious with the man and plotted to kill him, "kill, kill, kill, kill..." On the night of the new moon they would surround him and eat him. The wolves began watching the man, looking for an opening, but the man was cunning. He knew the wolves would come, he had hunted the largest animal and prepared it. Right there on the spot, the man dug into the snow and built a camp and a very large Light. Using tools unknown to us, he cut into the carcass and began slicing pieces of meat. In the Darkness of the new moon, there was a beacon of Light. The mans shadow danced upon the trees as the light snapped and popped. Steadily, the wolves appeared out in the shadow of the tree line, howling and barking, snarling and snatching their jaws. The man sat quietly in front of the light with his kill and pile of meat and calmly watched as the Alpha male approached. The Alpha was a huge beast of a wolf and stood proud and snarled. As their eyes locked, the wolf took note of the pile of meat the man had to his side. Slowly, the man reached down and picked up a slice of meat and to the surprise of the Alpha, he flung it to his feet. Before the wolf knew what he was doing he had swallowed the piece of meat whole, for he hath not smelt the aroma of meat this delicious. In desperation the wolf howled at the sky, the fire flickering among the trees all around, and then turned his fierce gaze and felt his hatred upon the man begin to waver. It was then that the Alpha heard joyous lapping and chopping. He looked all around to his pack to see the man had thrown ALL of them a slice of meat. Defeated by pride and humbled by kindness the Alpha saw a Light in the Darkness. He thought to himself "This man is cunning, for he did not come here to kill us, he came to make us his friends." The man continued to feed the wolves, all of the kill he had made was for them, to honor their new friendship. It was at this moment, the Alpha wolf attained consciousness, and followed man into the Light guided by His wisdom.
