More like a fan making a video. Not a guitar player who knows.. Eddie is one of my heroes. But this video just captures the gimmicky aspects of Eddie. Not the deep cut stuff that influenced actual players. Tapping is the least impressive aspect of Eddie. He had a brother. Alex is one of the greats for drums. He's amazing and has style. I've always been a VH fan since they release VH1 in '78, but I don't like the bad/cheap work that have been done here... not a single cool transition from a video to another and other details. I didn't put a dislike... but didn't click the like button. That's maybe why the Bieber fans put a 👎🏼 And finally, who cares if some people don't like the same stuff??? The only videos I saw without a single 👎🏼 have always been those getting 1-10 likes. Some dislikes won't change my love for a track, record(s) and a Group or Artist 🤷🏽♂️

That last clip I think was the most legendary version of eruption The way his solo section started, he sits down on the stage and plays this chilled blues lick with a cigarette, and works up slowly into finally eruption and seals in fucking diamond when he tosses the pick away and lands it perfectly The hammering is tapping was just right, beautiful guitar tone, great sound work by the engineer throughout the show and as a musician and producer I really vote that last clip to be the most beautifully done version of eruption. It wasnt rushed it was just sweet Start finish Bravo my dude, rest in peace st eddie

2007. I was 12 years old at a chess tournament that I lost in my first game. My best bud lost shortly after, and he brought me to his dad’s truck. What I heard blew me away so intensely that it still feels like yesterday. I had heard Eruption for the first time. I got my first guitar less than 6 months after that and still wannabe shred today. Thank you Eddie for giving me memories to reflect back on someday. You’ve inspired so many and will continue to do so thank you to the internet. It’s not tears, it’s allergies.
