From that moment when Eren was missing two limbs and boiling to death inside the stomach of a titan that had eaten a whole bunch of fellow soldiers, crying, thrusting his severed arm up to the sky, screaming in defiance that he would kill all the titans, not giving up even when he was basically as screwed and doomed as it gets... ...but he had secretly been given the power of rebellion. Against the titans, against the oppressors, against the will of King Fritz, against fate, against the world itself. And he would never, ever give up. He would keep moving forward...and do what Ymir could not. If the story of the world was a tragedy for Ymir and her descendants, then Eren Jaeger would at least defy all the odds and ensure that the tragedy would end on his terms, not the terms of those who had enslaved Ymir and her people for thousands of years.
