Don'T forget in Budokai 3, Gokus Dragonrush ability "Warp Kamehame-Ha" usually let's enemys shooting a Ki blast onto Goku, which he then dodges with the Teleport and then shoots the Kamehame-Ha Wave onto the enemy. But when the opponent is someone who can't shoot Ki-Blasters like Mr. Satan or Uub, they just randomly stand there and look at Goku.

Yes, but the Warp Kamehameha can be blocked because it’s part of the DragonRush. Which got me a little upset because you couldn’t perform it freely. On the PLUS side, it did massive damage depending on what you placed on the character. I liked the Breakthrough capsule for Goku, but sometimes using Ki Capsules with Super Saiyan 3 was cool too. 🙂

Tenkaichi series are a true love letter to the series, they never cease to surprise me. The reporter in Cell Games arena is an unexpected easter egg that I never knew it existed and also, it's fun to think that Vegeta's Technique™ was actually a thing in the game, before it become a meme.

On the subject of jumping ki blasts, they can be charged, Goku has the unique trait of shooting a Destructo Disc rather than a regular ki blast when charging it (other than Krillin)

What's probably happening in the Raging Blast games is, the models ARE being swapped out, but activating a transformation plays a specific cutscene to sort of keep the illusion. If you were somehow able to freecam during the transformation, you could probably still find the arena somewhere.

RB games transformation just add a background to wherever your character is standing. There's plenty of ways to glitch the transformations and you can see that Frieza's transformation is done in-game using his actual model. If you switch his model other characters will still change sizes and distort but won't grow their shoulder's/spikes etc.

It’s canon that the muscle mass in grade 2 did severely dropped his speed down. It is why Vegeta could even catch up to perfect Cell with his eyes, he simply couldn’t see him. Grade 3 speed is 2x slower than grade 2. Goku said that anything past grade one wouldn’t work in a fight and was training to see if it was possible to increase power level without increasing ki to muscles, thus super sayain 2 was born.

The "swaying" in Tenkaichi 3 you displayed w/ Guldo isn't swaying, it's simply the stepping mechanic. Swaying is an actual mechanic that can only be used in close-quarters. As for Raging Blast 2, you can do the back-step infinitely w/ Guldo, you just have to keep mashing down. If you mistime it then you'll go back to regular movement. That's all.

10:55 Small thing, this is actually grade 2. While it's implied that Vegeta learned Grade 3, he never uses it due to it's drawbacks. Meanwhile Trunks uses it because he's a less experienced fighter and simply assumes the power boost makes it better. Grade 3 is only ever shown being used by Trunks and Goku. Though it's definitely confusing with the names being both: Super Vegeta & Super Trunks

I always found it cool to be able to physically run in a match jus the additional animation is fun to look at. I dunno if I’m the only one but I would really like if sparking zero added unique K.O animation. Like if u are knocked out while in water u slowly sink and there’s like a trail of bubbles above u. Or if get K.O with a gut punch. Ur character staggers holding their belly and the drops on their knees then collapse. If they don’t have these things it’s nothing to get mad about but it would be a nice refreshing detail

Vegeta has always been known as a ki blast spammer despite him having multiple forms in the tenkaichi series almost all of them have the volley ki blast attack however there is one rush attack that vegeta has that's actually referenced a lot and that's his attack against cell when he fought second form cell as super vegeta where he kicks cell in the gut in budokai 3 this is actually a finishing move when you use dragon rush that multiple characters share not just vegeta off the top of my head uub uses it as his finisher when you get the full dragon rush off

A fun little detail with Xenoverse 2 is when selecting the CAC voice option (Male option 8) which is voiced by Taka from Team four star. He will sound like Abridged Nappa. And if you use the move Destructo disk, your character will shout "Pizza Time" also when using the tri beam. Your character will yell out "Geometry" and "Advanced Geometry" when using the Neo Tri Beam.

Here is a curiosity about dbz tenkaichi 3: when a multi-hit clash is made, if child characters do it, there will be moments where instead of hitting each other they will simply hit nothing while they are spinning. Example: goten, trunks, pan, etc.

That's just bad model placement. Yajirobe does that when attacking with his Ultimate, despite slashing sounds being heard and the enemy clearly taking damage in the process. Some say it is a reference to him missing against the badly wounded Vegeta in early Z, but there's a fair bit of jank in BT3 here and there.

Another easy to miss detail about Tenkaichi 3 is the Super Saiyan Grades 2 and 3 for Android Saga Vegeta and Armored Future Trunks: When performing their Ki charge, their Ki is the normal SSJ Ki despite being a transformation beyond SSJ, but in reality, they're still SSJ with a minor multiplier to their power level in lore In short, SSJ, Super Vegeta and Super Trunks all have the yellow Ki when they perform their Ki charge, while SSJ2, SSJ3, and SSJ4 has a yellow-orange like Ki

One "ki spammer" i loved to use was Super Gogeta. Charging his jumping ki blast would shoot a group of smaller energy blasts that would deal considerable damage, if i remember correctly, more than 15k if they all hit! Hard to aim but very good against giants :D
