Singles Inferno has become the show for already rich and famous people that just want more clout. Cuz they’re already famous enough to be with whoever they want. So it’s difficult to believe that they are there for love and not more fame. And this season feels the most scripted of all and it’s very noticeable how the directors want to showcase some more than others. Even the new guy barely got any screen time even though he was supposed to be a “game changer”. And that walking red flag Jeong-su lying straight to Si-an’s face is wild when the day before he said that the new girl was his literal ideal type ☠️ and yuk jun-seo is also weird cuz now out of nowhere he likes Si-an as well? And Theo deserves better than a girl who’s still hung up on another guy. Te-hwan is so bland but he somehow thinks he’s the biggest fish in the sea? Weird. Another thing I noticed is that the islanders don’t even really cook for themselves in the island and their rooms although shabby on the outside they have vanities, and actual bed frames unlike any other season. So how is it really inferno if they have things they would find at a nice hotel? Very strange season indeed.

They’re all famous and/or actors which is interesting bc since they know how to act they know how to put on a show which is what makes it so noticeable that it’s scripted because like you said no couples are ever actually formed outside of the show. It’s not exciting or fun when you already know that they’re not actually gonna date once they get out and that the end result is so predictable.

Seriouslyy, after the success of last season many already famous people are coming to singles inferno only for attention. I liked junseo when he was with minseol but after he started liking sian out of nowhere, it made me annoyed idk why😂. Also i hate junseok he's such a liar. The last season was very nice with lots of nice and diverse people with confidence and personality. They all are great friends. These people have bland personality except theo.

This is so lame. I genuinely thought these people were real. They’re literally all famous and in the industry, with the exception of the guy who is an accountant, who actually seems cool. The rest of them just seem like self-obsessed actors. Even Yuk, who is very attractive for sure, seems very self-absorbed with his own looks. And fake. And Sian, I’m freaking shocked at her before and after! She looks like a totally, TOTALLY different person after all the cosmetic surgery. Actually, the accountant is also verified on IG since 2023 with 27,940 followers before the show first aired & was on a shoot with Min-kyu & Won-ik from S3 back in Feb 2024 (about a month after S3 finished airing). But he's just an accountant, rrrright. He recently became an accountant. A-rin 4.9K, You-jin 10.7K, & Min-seol at 11.1K had the lowest follower count prior to the show. Idk about the 2 new ppl (I pulled this off a reddit post that was made prior to those 2 joining). Yuk also doesn't mention he's an actor who had 221K followers before the show aired.

I think single's inferno is basically a show to get the next celebrity...like its really good ground for people who want to break into the entertainment industry to do so i mean look at Dex and Seulki and its never really been strange for actors or other types of upcoming entertainers to breakthrough in the ent industry through a dating show...And y'all have to admit it is a really entertaining show and contrary to many people's beliefs i do not think it's scripted , just edited to give the drama the directors want. Obviously they aren't really there for love only , they are each trying to boost their own careers through it but finding sbd you like isn't outta the picture. And to those commenting on the looks of the contestants ...y'all are the problem, as long as they are happy with themselves who are we to keep judging them so hard...they look good .Also before single's inferno season 4 production was confirmed there were many online who were hyping up the idea of producing a dating show for celebrities and i feel like single's inferno picked up on it and decided to go with it and i honestly don't think its bad. The producers clearly had no intention of making this celebrity dating show they initially wanted it to be hot people dating show hot Girls and guys in swim suits but Jia from season 1 ended up becoming huge she was so popular even more popular than idol girls at one point before that silly scandal got her canceled then DEX went there to promote his channel as well so it became a thing from season3 they all came with the intention to promote business ig pages and KZbin channels. Now season4 c class celebrities and failed trainees want to use this opportunity to have a second chance.

Went on dates and you can talk about only "How's Heaven" "is it fun?" "what's your activities". Like wtf why ? Singles Inferno is cast through Korean talent agencies to see if they have models or actors that need publicity and sometimes they reach out to people who have a large following on social media like Instagram or KZbin. For one reason it's because it is a television show it's supposed to resemble a K-drama with good looking cast. Second, a lot of average people who work 9 to 5 jobs can't take off a few weeks off work without getting fired. So they look for people with flexible jobs in the entertainment or self-employed

the large percentage of the s4 cast who are literally "just" models is overall not a good thing, since it makes it boring when their careers are revealed and they often have a lot less to talk about that. but i must say that s4 had some of the most interesting chemistry and character dynamics so far, so maybe the casting directors focussed on that aspect a little more. i like their interactions a lot more than in s3. s1 had shin ji-yeon a neuroscience student, a bunch of badass people with their own businesses like jin-taek and so-yeon, s2 had lee nadine a med student at harvard and a surgeon, s3 had hye-son and min-ji who studied at ewha womans university and even if gwan-hee was a pain in the ass he is a professional athlete. especially for the female contestants, i always liked when they had an unexpected nerdy professional career like hye-son or ji-yeon. and it makes the cast more complex and interesting in general. however, what i observed over the seasons was, how the "smart" women often intimidated the men (like lee nadine). so maybe they chose female contestants who appealed more to korean societal stereotypes.

Sure this is a TV Show, but I think it would be better if it would portrait the normal everyday young people in South Korea.
