I didn't even know characters like Ike and Kirby were low tier. I thought Kirby was high because of his recovery, and Ike at least mid for his [definitely balanced] combo potential ariels. And to be fair, some heavyweights deserve to be high tier, in my opinion. Why must a move that works well with a heavy be considered "Broken"? Why are skillful, heavy characters be considered "broken" and not high tier?

Kirby's recovery is actually kind of bad because of his low air speed and Cutter being so short. He struggles a lot against characters faster than him or ones with disjoints since he's so slow and stubby. Kirby has good normals but struggles a lot getting in, while sometimes having to fish for kills after certain percentages. Heavies suffer from a combination of being combo food, slow, lacking moves to stop people from hitting them and having mediocre recoveries making them die a lot more early than they should. The good ones have something that manages to deal with this weaknesses (Bowser has tons of armor and is fast on the ground, Ridley has huge attacks with a good all around speed and strong offstage game, Incineroar has Revenge and some of the best normals in the game). This only matters in the competitive 1v1 environment tho, and only after mid level.
