Sir ji ek query he.. Me dimension deta hu kisi line ko to mujhe dono point select karne padte he.. Aur aap dimension dete ho to sirf us line ko select karke side me dimension rakh dete ho wo kese hota he? Aur jo + sign wala cursor he uski size kese badhayi apne?

Actually for example agr aapko linear dimension leni hai to aap press krte hai DLI enter then aap select krte hai one corner point then other fir dim aati hai... But agr aap DLI double enter krte hai to aapko only line pe click krna hai jiski aapko dimension chaiye n side me place kr dena hai.. Simple...

And cursor ko bda krne ke liye aapko jaana option me by press OP enter... Then vha pe aapko milega grip size, pick box size, aperture size, (in drafting tab and one other ll b dete in uper tab) to bs unke size ko increse kr dijiye to ho jayga

Mr Verma how can we resize/scale an object with dimensions independent of each other i.e. I want to scale only the vertical dimension (height) and not the horizontal dimension (width)

in this step also i cant select mid point of line to scale , either end pts are selected but no mid pt are selected, what's the matter....

Type OS enter... Then check all boxes.. And ok... That ll snep all points of line...
