yo Slick for tip #1, there’s a setting to make it so u can slide into your primary gun. I forget where it is but I set it up 3 months ago and it helps a lot!

I left this out because it can swap to an unloaded weapon if it’s out of bullets which is normally bad. I have this off but it is personal preference.

For fix#4 you can also say that using your wall to eliminate some angles when first coming in then stunning the remaining angles is a good strategy to safely clear a good chunk of site

Ok the second tip is debatable because if your in a 1v1, and your opponent may be holding that corner where you slide early. So if you were to slide wide your opponent would have to readjust farther, and you would have the advantage. Worked for me multiple times.

There are definitely some situations where his tips don't work. 11 might be better to slide close if you have a shorter range gun or potentially if you're just not hitting shots. I think most situations however, his tips would be optimal. Although val players have a habit of finding the worst timing to push you so I can't say for certain. At least with the pre-sliding your gun will be out when you come face to face with that enemy in your example.

Well ever since i started to play valorant i always treated it as a secondary game where i take completely non-serious. So most people ive met were pretty rude towards me cause of my non conventional rushy playstyle. And yes i always insta lock neon cause i just love gambling my aim skills vs theirs. Thanks for this guide though I will especially try to focus on improving on those peeks with slide cause i mostly did them random af XD

Just started valorant and my first recruit is Neon and here I am watching a guide cuz my first gameplay was full of toxic smurfs (my match is unrated so I dont know if the match making is all ranks).

For the 2nd mistake, the only benefit I see for doing it over the fix#2 is changing the ennemy crosshair placement especially if someone is holding with an operator

For fix #6, I do understand it. But also having that jump and doing some movement that will mess them up, you can slide out in any direction to mess them up even more. But I do get that b hopping will delay but it can also help!

B hopping is useful if you use smartly just dash strafe use your surroundings don't move in a straight line without jumping the enemies will be more accurate yiu can dash backwards with the b hopping if you aren't too confident

All the tips are good.. i just started playing her recently cuz she just seems so fun plus i saw some plays too of like shiroz and other streamers. But i think B hopping is good.. the example you showed wasn't fair tho hehe.. cuz you can easily dodge more bullets bunny hopping and immediately slide and kill them

5:00 that is a huge example I'm currently 19600 xp of unlocking neon so it's best to learn before I start doing alot of these mistakes

In shorter angles, air strafing and dodge strafing are actually beneficial because you abuse Neon's horizontal speed to make enemies have a tougher time shooting you down. Especially at a closer range, they have to swing wider to track you, people typically panic and run out of mousepad. Search up Neon air strafing/dodge strafing and you will find a few videos. There's a few communities dedicated to movement theory solely on Neon's playstyle.

just got neon an tryin to get better at her but for the orbs is my ult high on the priority list? Like I feel like when it comes to orbs some agents shouldn't grab over others an to me duelists are pretty low on the totem pole since they should be getting kills anyway. Wait they buffed Neon’s ult? I remember it doing 22 damage per tick no matter where you hit them. That’s why I always aim for the body because it’s easier to track. I didn’t know it has headshot damage now.
