Quick PSA: If a cheater is found, but not immediately banned, in most games that's for a reason - ban waves. If you ban in waves, the people _making_ the cheats are less likely to find what got them detected, making the game overall more secure. So it's just possible it's a newer cheat and the company behind the game wants to make it harder to cheat in the future.

@@SB-mr2nklong story short, games like rainbow six or valorant will ban people in huge waves, (aka banning them all at once instead of one at a time.) This means if you cheat, there’s a higher chance that you’ll get banned later on rather then immediately, this makes it way harder for cheaters to figure out what triggered the anti-cheat, and therefore create a work around to said anti-cheat.

For the non detected cheaters, what happens is that riot bans in waves. Basically, when a new cheat is found, the cheaters are not instantly banned, but rather the games waits for a lot of cheaters to be detected then bans them all.

I’m iron. One time in an unrated game with my friends there was someone hitting shots that you would see in Immortal or higher. I said to my friends “no way this guy is in our elo, he’s gotta be cheating” they brushed it off as him playing with low-elo friends, having a good game, etc. But then I reported it and not two rounds later the match was terminated. I have never met an obvious hacker in Valorant. That is so refreshing, since I quit CS:GO because I met hackers so often. It stopped being fun when almost every match I had to think "is that a smurf or a hacker?". Then I could see the Match Replay, and see that it was actually a cehater.

I remember 1 game in particular where me and my friends faced a cheater in the other team. We were playing on Bind as i remember and after a couple of rounds i suspected a player in cheating (prob aimbot and wallhack). I was continuously getting headshoted and it came to the point were i was tilted and I was continuously saying to my teammates that this guy is definitely hacking but nobody was believing me. So everyone started making fun of me, of how "bad" i am and saying to me to stop crying and that aim lab is free. But on 10-12 exactly the map screen appeared and after that everyone saw the "Cheater detected" screen. Nobody has said anything since that and i have never felt this good before.

And the Reyna started out without cheats and very slowly turned their cheats up, trying to prefire, etc.

I told my team to leave one site open for free and fully stack 2 of the sites. And guess what happened. EVERY TIME they went to the site that was ALWAYS clear. This happened to me during my climb back to immortal 3 rankup and after the entire team reported them multiple times the cheater was never even banned even though they were spinbotting. I ended up losing a bunch of rr due to losing 0 - 13. Why can’t riot just give me my rr back when a cheater is later detected? It doesn’t make sense that it has to happen during a game to save your rr.

so I guess you're all cheating in Valorant aswell? I just reinstalled Valorant after 2 months of constant cheaters on CS2... and it's exactly the same thing. Every match it's a bunch of bots who don't know how to play just stacking where you go with the spike, no matter what. They just run straight at you and prefire you in off angles when you've made 0 noise the entire round. I even tried hiding in random corners at spawn, none of my teammate gave away my position, 3 times out of 3 an enemy just comes in prefiring hs me. It's crazy. In 2023 people aren't even able to play GAMES without cheats.

Its up to you to decide whether or not is it worth getting your files "exposed". The anti cheat basically installs itself into your computers kernel system, and from there can perform more access than your average program. Other games generally dont do this because they know doing that is a violation of a lot of their users rights to privacy. But, then again, we see it working. And it works really well. We probably will never know if Riots doing more than just checking cheats when it crawls your files. Its up to you to decide if theyre worth trusting.

For me this is just frustrating, because I think that the cheater detected page is like a false positive. Most believe this means the cheater is gone. But really 9/10 (probably more like 10/10) the cheaters have used a VPN, HWID changer, and a burn account. So even after being banned, they just change their HWID, change their IP and change their account, and they are then back again doing the same shit.

I miss CS Source when they’d let you use your own custom anti-cheat. Nobody lasted more than a few hours on our servers. It even used metrics like headshot percentage and overall accuracy rather than just looking for cheat software.

I have 4000 hours in csgo, and fyi i got gold and stop playing for a while. Every person I faced (lost like 10 games in a row during this time) every single enemy knew where I was, somehow. I changed the spot i would be in when i would be on defense and the enemy knew everytime. Instakilled, even in tdm, i think aimbot may not be common, but wall hacks is more common than ever in imo. Ive faced hackers myself years ago on csgo, i wouldn't be surprised if people started hacking in valorant.

What I am afraid about is, about those manual checks, do they some how manually run through your systems, or just somehow manually review the vod (idk how they are supposed to do it) later to decide weather someone was cheating or not? On one hand, they are accessing your system and breaching your privacy, on the other hand, it could give them some false positives.

Not all cheats are coded or built the same so it takes time for RIOT to test and impliment new detections. They can detect a lot of cheats so far because they have reverse engineered them and fed it to the AI detection system. Cheats are constantly being updated, improved and changed. It's why a lot of RIOT employees actually work WITH cheat creators and cheaters to understand how and why these cheats are being used. At least thats how they are when it comes to League, but I've heard about RIOT employees doing the same with VAL. I hope this helped

Vanguard is a Kernel 0 Anti cheat, meaning it has full control over windows (more control than even you) and can see *EVERYTHING* that is happening on your pc, this is to combat Kernel 0 level cheats that also have this level of Control and can hide themselves from Anti cheats that arent at kernel 0 Also, im pretty sure Vanguard is using some algorithms to figure out how legit a person is, they collect data from cheater to improve the algorithm and check for stuff like tracking players through walls etc so i dont think there are a lot of manual reviews and if there are, they most likely have enough data that Vanguard flagged as suspicious To make the correct decision

It happens with me two time one it was without red the another was in my game it was my pheonix who was in my party i didn't know he was cheating then after two rounds he got banned bc all of us reported him (it was unrated)❤

I just reinstalled Valorant after quitting CS2 because of the insane cheating situation. It's literally the exact same. Every match I get "people" who barely speak english, they have no idea how to play, they very clearly wallhack and aimbot. What I feared years ago has finally happened. A majority of what's left of the playerbase in FPS games are cheaters and they just lie on every forum possible that no one cheats. Also the fact that the cheaters in this video weren't instantly banned and even allowed to compete in official matches is mind blowing. TOs have no clue about anything in gaming to let such obvious bots cheating in. Good bye gaming.

Kernel is the level that vanguard works at, they have access to *everything* on your computer. Even CPU/GPU clocks and stuff like that. It has the ability to completely destroy your computer. That's bad because anyone with knowledge of working at kernel level can piggy back off-of it's permissions to do anything they want to your computer. It's a horrific anticheat, that is way overkill. You can do everything you need to, to identify cheating at user level.
