With new allies found, the party drops Kashaw and Zahra off at their homebase, Percy's hometown of Whitestone. The party returns to Vasselheim to plead for aid from a friendly Sphinx.

As epic as the original - relocated, the ending now reprises and foreshadows various tunes, giving it an interesting mid-act climax. I really like how "Why do you assume you're the smartest in the room?" was directed at Percy, as Taliesin has called that one of Percy's big character flaws.

I agree, it feels kind of like the part of a large game that starts off with the big threat and you go through a linear path just trying to survive, which turns out to be a long prologue. This is the part where the players find the info on what they need to accomplish, the world opens up for them, and the proper title sequence plays.

They're a group of broken people who only began to be better people because they were fighting together against greater threats, every day, all the time ! They needed to fight because it was the only thing left to do for them to keep going on, one step at a time

I just got to that part and I had to pause to laugh my ass offI XD Edit: it got used a few times (EG saving Vax from Hotis) but yeah, Sam was far more comfortable casting than attacking. He always used the passive (which was awesome) but it probably would’ve been more used had it fit his play style better. I mean, Vax got a dagger good for throwing, Kiki got a staff good for casting, Grog got knuckles good for smashing...
