Blank voucher could also be considered a strange unlock, since you need to buy it 10 times to unlock antimatter, which new players will not know. Regardless, great video! I love these secret unlocks

Bit of a weird strategy for getting the palette voucher but playing on gold stake is what I ended doing to help, since it has the default -1 hand size from the start.

Another thing that wasn't in this video, there is a joker which can be unlocked by playing a hand worth 100 million chips - although it isn't really "odd" but more of a test of synergy. To get this joker, you need to have either an *extremely* good synergy with jokers like constellation, ancient joker, baseball card, etc. that multiply your final score enough to pass this requirement, or you can raise your chip value (the blue one) by adding foil editions to your jokers and cards, and turning normal cards into bonus cards for the extra +30 chips each. This makes it a lot easier on your mult and turns the requirement from something like 80 chips x1.25M into 500 chips x200k (as an example). After you do this, congrats! You've unlocked this "stuntman" card people are talking about in the comments and assuming you have already! (I tried to make it as bare as possible in terms of required jokers, but obviously unlocking things like plasma deck and baron/mime make this much easier. Good luck!)

Yes! Stuntman is a very important joker and a good basis for many runs so ppl need to unlock it quickly! 18 rounds or less unlocks the wee joker who can also be very crucial for high scoring games

For the Pallette unlocking 6:21 using the Ghost Deck will maximize your chances. Especially if you don't have the Stuntman joker.

the "strange" unlock requirements are definitely one of my favorite parts of balatro as it incentivises exploring the tarots and such discarding 5 jacks and a royal flush is a little ridiculous but at least the jokers they unlock are suitably powerful under the right conditions (especially brainstorm lol) my personal favorite unlock condition is the 12 round speedrun requirement even if it's a bit of a luckfest i personally did it fullskip!

It didn't occur to me to just reroll Checkered Deck over and over until I had a Royal Flush to discard to unlock Brainstorm. Clever idea.

For 12/18 rounds or less I would def recommend plasma deck, it can score very high hands with easy chip generators like banner or bull or stuntman. Had much easier time when skipping using plasma, and I found Analglyph to be too clunky and awkward as the double tag usually hit something I didn’t want

i got my 100m point hand with hack blueprint fib and 2 of the hearts have a 1/3 chance to give 2x cards

U mean the 12 rounda or less challenge? If so u need the joker throwback, wich unlocks by resuming a saved game. Then start a new game try to get him and skip as many blinds as u can and pick up some good jokers on the way. Pretty easy

This is all there is to know: 1. The Spectral Card 'The Soul' can appear in Spectral Packs and Arcana Packs. 2. When used you will spawn 1 of the 5 legendries. 3. If you play on Gold Stake, when you use The Soul, it will only create legendries you don't yet have a gold sticker with (e.g. it wont spawn legendries you already have a gold sticker on until all 5 legendries have a gold sticker.) Tip: Restart the run and look for Charm Tags on the first skip.

@@ms-h7617 Midas mask now only works on scored face cards not all played one. The patch is currently experimental to check for anything broken, it will roll out officially when it's ready.
