My soundcore motion boom plus was distorting after being outside for 15mins. It seems the radiators on the side (or drivers as you call them) just expanded all the way out and didn't go back in... Anyways, support gave me a 30% refund and sent over a new unit that now works without issues.... Respect to soundcore for taking care of its customers quickly 👍🏽

Thats always the issue about this speaker. Their passive radiators are stupid. Put them outside and let it exposed by the sun for 30 mins then your speaker will be done for. The passive radiators are stupid. The volume of MBP is outdoor but clearly this speaker is not good to be put outside coz of the quality

I took my soundcore to the lake, gave it shade under a tent and float, played as good all the way from. 8 am to 7pm no problem. Set the the eq!!! Also water proof took it out after 6pm to the lale to dip it and after all that play. Really amazing for the price

Fantastic video with so many speakers! You know nowadays when anyone asks me what portable speakers to get, it's soundcore by default.. you just can't beat them for the price. Really disappointed in Sony tho.. their audio stuff is usually really good, shame they don't put as much hard work into their Bluetooth speakers.

Jbl Bluetooth speakers are like iPhone and the rest are android and lg , or like beats headphones , even if soundcore or Sony were better for less $ it’s just a Bluetooth speaker get it and expect that level of sound quality and volume . It will be cool one day maybe a Bluetooth battery powered speaker being better than a home audio system with towers and external amplifiers and even powered subwoofers running on electricity but that’s like a Tesla plaid being faster than so many high hp cars and it’s on batteries so I guess anything’s possible with technology advancing indefinitely. I’m very interested in what’s next.

soundcore is louder but it so harsh on the highs and the bass is not as clean and deep as the jbl but to be honest it still good deal for 3 is as much as jbl boombox

This is what I been waiting for😁 I got the JBL'S in person except for the Flip 6 but if you can catch the JBL'S on good sales or refurbished there great. Soundcore is great for the price but the build quality isn't that good to make up for. Sony just focused on the looks and not sound sound quality except for the XG-500 I love that thing especially since I only paid 180 for it

If your xb500 sounds good, it’s small brother may sounds good too. They are almost the same. Sony speakers sounds good, out of the box they have a neutral sound I though but whit their own app eq it’s sound change. I own a xb30, xb3 and my son xb3 and they sounds very good in my opinion

I still want to review the XG-300 but not one review it came close to beating out the JBL Xtreme 3 and the Motion Boom. It did better against the Mifa Wildbox but still got destroyed in deep bass. The Early Sony speakers were impressive and Sony speakers usually sound good until you put them against other good speakers but the warm sound is a safe sound as well but they can clean it up some.

As you can see at 9:46 the MBP at the far left side got it's passive radiators (or you said drivers), which can cause reaaally bad distortion to the sound, it is said that Soundcore is still fixing the issue of the speaker, and as of now the only solution to fix that prob is to just let the flap at the back at all times when outside, to release the heated air inside, just some smol info regarding the speaker.

Hey. You should check out Lady Wray’s album “Piece of Me”. I’m recommending it because I think the kinda the same taste in music. I would describe her music as RnB with a vintage bent, w/ a smidge of 90s thrown in… in the RnB category it’s probably my favorite release in 2022 so far
