I stand behind not over planning your days! I always try to tell people the more you have planned for one day the faster the day is going to go by because you are constantly on the move! You have to leave some gaps and let some adventure happen or you may even stumble across a new experience of restaurant you haven't been to before! I am all about the pool time! People often say the resort is just a place to shower and sleep, but for us the resort is a huge part of our vacation! We love chilling by the pool, grabbing a drink from the pool bar, and just exploring the resort in general! If you're a rope drop until park close type of person, no judgement here! The resort is a huge part of the magic for us!

You are so right about the impossibility of predicting crowds. Even if you avoid what used to be the holiday, marathon, and other super-crowded days, there can still inexplicably be high crowds on days you thought would be okay.

Last year we went in the first few days of November between the Halloween season and the Christmas season because historically that is the slowest days of the year...I overheard a local saying it was the busiest she has seen in months.

I went this last January specifically to avoid the crowds and it was busiest January they've ever seen! So it was both cold and crowded and none of the food carts at FARTs had any utensils! 🤪

​@@calebyost9228that's a bummer! We've gone that week twice bc we love the weather, but it did seem more crowded than we expected bc of the food and wine run. In 2020 it was fine bc the capacity was so low.

#1 tip is do not relying on the general consensus out there for dining. Go where you want. Most of our favorite places are the restaurants everyone says aren't good, and vice versa

Yea, I was hyped about Le Cellier and was super disappointed! It was flat grilled and not wood fire grilled so it was too greasy for me, but it was super hyped to be THE steakhouse of Disneyworld. Yak and Yeti had a better steak to me.

I went on a girls trip with a few of my coworkers. We stupidly did a monorail crawl the day before we did drinking around the world. Long story short, we did not make it around the world 😂

While I'm not going to Disney World, we are planning out a trip to Disney Land, but honestly, these tips still stand and are valid. I never thought to just do pieces of the park each day instead of trying to do most/all at once, especially since we do want to spend multiple days there, and burnout is super real - especially if you want to kick in a holiday event as well (Halloween for me). I already think that IF Tiana's Bayou Adventure is open when we go, I'll either do that on a seperate day or AFTER I have a meet and greet with Dr. Facilier, and not on the same day of the Halloween event for the sake of having potential pain afterwards or being dripping wet. I want to do a slight Facilier cosplay so will try to buy a shirt to change into later for the occasion, and I can't afford to wear it all day and get it stinky/wet/dirty/etc beforehand. :P After a past trip to Sea World, I also realized I just need to bring extra clothes and a towel to dry off and change after such rides...Rashes in certain areas are NOT fun, folks.

We just went the first week of May and I was kind of disappointed how busy it was! I didn't realize there was a dance/cheerleading thing going on. I was excited for the baby to wear her DFB Dole Whip shirt but unfortunately she puked on it before we could get our Dole whip. 😩

Yeah, if you want to get the most for rides etc..then yes glued to the phone. I did save for long lines etc and tried not to be on constantly but was still a lot of time

It’s so hard for people to do a Disney trip because it’s so expensive one thing Disney should focus on is decreasing their theme park tickets, lowering the cost of food and souvenirs they should also focus on adding more black panther wakanda forever stuff I feel like it doesn’t get a lot of attention like it should it’s sad because it was an amazing movie and also we should also continue to honor Chadwick boseman who died from colon cancer he was a phenomenal actor icon all of that 😢
