I'm already in a relationship. I came here because I want to be the best I can be for the man I'm with and check myself for things I'm doing wrong . Attention from other men is of no interest to me but don't like to think I might be displaying unattractive behaviours out in the world and letting myself down. I sometimes find myself getting negative reactions off complete strangers (both men and women) and constantly look to myself for the reason. It's a petty annoyance that's stealing my happiness. I have most of those good traits. I think I just need to take ownership of the person I am rather than worrying about how I'm seen by others. My partner is the most important person in my life and although he has no complaints, I still want to make him happy anyway

Every one of the models in this video are gorgeous. Men are first of all, sight oriented. That’s the first and defining fact they look for. Is she appealing physically? If so, then they will notice the other points like humor or feistiness. Sad fact - if she is beyond fabulous looking, he will tolerate any odd ball behavior and craziness. If she doesn’t appeal to him or his buddies, no matter how wonderful she is otherwise, she won’t get a second look. Also, men hate very intelligent women. It intimidates them. Women successful in getting a man know to stuff their smarts. The rules: be pretty as heck, and deferential. Always put the man’s ego first.

Then after women who "stuff their smarts" get their "man," they have to sustain that fake act (there goes "honesty") for the rest of their deferential, subservient lives. Why single women are statistically happier than married women. If "marriage is a great institution for one and a half people," they don't have to live their lives stifling half their being.

Yes. This is very true. I can easily attract male men around me even if I'm not a supermodel looking. Maybe because number 1 I care about my physical self, maybe because I'm kind, maybe because I smile and laugh often, maybe because I exhibit sign of intelligence sometimes. ☺️☺️

Man here. Things to avoid (applies equally either way): Victimhood. Pretentious and expensive label clothing and accessories. Materialism. Complaining about men/women as if they're all the same. Sulking/holding a grudge. Expecting mind-reading skills. Blaming your irrational behaviour on your previous boyfriend/girlfriend. Jealousy (especially of pre-existing friendships). Being unable to say sorry. Thinking only you are capable of having emotions. Things to aim for: Respect the other person. Accept they have emotions too. Laugh about your differences rather than complaining about them. Treat your partner like you would treat a valued friend. Honesty. Trust. Appreciate and show interest in your partner's hobbies and interests. And the Biggie: Ban smartphones in the bedroom or when you're spending time together!

Beginning of list: these are traits that have nothing to do with appearance #1: fitness & appearance ( linked to health) ok I see what you did there 👏 👍
@LV-bk4it2 жыл бұрын
My husband says he fell for my appearance, smile, and laugh. He likes that I'm quiet and secure. He acknowledges that I'm sweet, kind, and intelligent but it's ALWAYS physical appearance that trumps it all. It's the only thing he compliments me on (and usually only sexually). It doesn't make me feel very special if I'm only seen as a v@gina.
@ipercalisse579 Жыл бұрын
Wow you may be very voluptuous looking to get this type of compliments. My partners never were much into me, according to how much they complimented me about physicality.. there were mostly complaints and I hated that. And I'm not ugly I think, I'm petite, maybe a bit too plain and simple. One told me I'm not super attractive because I look innocent. I wish can find someone who finds "innocence" super attractive.. lol. Sometimes love is strange. I think I just didnt find very good matches though...
@ue2267 Жыл бұрын
@@ipercalisse579 They sound toxic. That is weird for romantic partners to be saying things like that. They either lack a lot of self-awareness and don't know how to speak to others or they were trying to bring your self-esteem down. Your romantic partner should find you the most beautiful person. Hence why they chose to be with you in the first place and made an exclusive relationship with you.
@ue2267 Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to hear this. It doesn't sound nice at all. I hope you speak to him seriously about how that makes you feel. He should not be sexualising you constantly like that. If he chooses to ignore what you have conveyed then perhaps he isn't a good person to be with.

I make more time for my goals, especially as a woman who is working to establish her own economic stability and independence. I like spending and saving my own money. It's not hard to make guys laugh especially if he or she is a goof ball like me. Being kind and compassionate creates safe spaces, and being considerate & honest makes you trustworthy. I love love looooooove adventure. If I'm complaining, I'm not doing enough to fix the problem. My parents used to always say, if you are complaining and not doing, you will get bitter. That’s not always true.. it depends on You! How you act and present yourself to the opposite sex also has a lot to do with it. You can be older and still attract younger men. It’s not impossible. It’s how you dress and by no means dress like your 20 but, at the same time don’t dress like your a granny either dress modern and look younger by fixing your hair in a style that befits you and makes you look younger. Same with your clothes. And when you talk make your conversation lighter and more upbeat. You’d be surprised how younger men cling to you! And find you extremely attractive!

I'm middle-aged and out of the game now, happy with my long-term partner, but one thing I'd like to say is that if you tick most of the boxes in this list, then being overweight won't hold you back. I was overweight from the age of 15, but I always found men really liked me because I was confident, reasonably smart, fun-loving, low-maintenance etc. etc. You've got to remember that overweight women face criticism every day that undermines their confidence, which is an issue in itself. But an overweight woman who is happy, confident, etc. draws men in just as much as slimmer women who share the same character traits. The vast majority of men are fine with a woman being a bit overweight if they're great in lots of other ways. So don't get to the point where you're focusing so hard on losing weight that you feel a bit miserable and diet-obsessed, because that in itself is a great way to put men off.

I think for the poster to pretend that there is no physical element to males choosing mates is disingenuous. Has "NOTHING TO DO????" with looks???? Come on, dude! Mmmmmmmany studies show that age/youth breasts/size (and mmmmmmmmany other physical factors) come into play. These personality factors might tip the scales. But I know that to ignore the physical when you're talking about a male "picker" is frankly dishonest. Some anthropologists believe that it is women who pick for male providers, for the family security that a good provider brings to her children by using more personality traits than physical traits; and men who pick for good genes, and that's why they are SO physically oriented in their sexual preferences. And that's why there "breast men," "ass men," although we've never heard of a "ball woman," a "ab girl," or a "lat woman." As a matter of fact when you look around KZbin, There is a dearth of information on what men physically find attractive in women. I believe that this it is because it is not politically correct in the current era to talk about such things and not because men don't have statistical preferences. Signed: Divorce Lawyer Married to Anthropologist
@ipercalisse579 Жыл бұрын
I'm happy that age/youth/breast size is not affecting the perception of myself anymore as I confront with men. My value is not in question as not determined by those factor. I'm approaching 40s so I'm not young anymore, and my breasts were always small, beautifully small. They still are actually :) as many men know they dont sag, when mother nature made them so. I didnt attract a partner that loved me and went nuts for me when I was younger, this because I was not confident, I had a poor image of myself, I suffered a lot mostly due to my parents neglect. In my 30s I went the hard way of "parenting" myself and learned to care about myself and I'm happier now than I've ever being. It is precisely when you, and just you, understand your value, so much that you know it's absolutely not for everyone. Even if not young anymore (I actually look 15 years younger), even with... whatever physical less sensual (but just on paper) trait you have. Your value is high. That's all.
