Hi lovely from Bristol UK. I met my twin flame in 2004. I went to work at his place as a temp rec. He was a security guard. I had met the other guards. I know deep in my soul we are twin flames after 39 years of separating and finding each other again and again; but I also find myself doubting it occasionally because we still go months of separation without speaking after the last 8 years. When I first met him on a dating app, I was STARSTRUCK... And how well we connected scared the hell out of me. When I met him in person, my whole body recognised him and felt safe. I just KNEW he was going to change my life. For weeks, my heart was racing so fast for days, I felt light headed almost as if I was high, I could barely eat. I met my TF when I was 13 and she was 11. I am now 77 and I have not experienced anything like it since. Long story since, she got married and went to Texas and 5 months later, she died in a car accident. That was 56 years ago and I am still feeling and thinking of her still. I attend church to connect to God more, gave up alcohol, became self aware and much more patient with my kids. I’ve embraced the tough emotional moments and have sat still to feel the pain instead of avoiding it. It’s painful but I’m growing and I embrace change. It hurts. Make sure to sleep and eat well. Take care of yourself .

I am sort of no contact, this morning i got on my computer and was panicked when I did not see my person on ANY socail media and for a few mintues felt so much dread, but later realized he had simply removed his picture and changed the usual name. So then later I went todo a little sunrise ritual I do for grasping energy from the sun, worked out, felt that I should not worry, came back, and saw that he had changed his picture to sunrise. Did not occur that this was a synchronicity until just now.

I remember it and it was almost 5 montus ago, her smile pierced through all my armors and knowledge about relationship, I felt like a 15 year old boy. Since then, there hasn't been a minute that I don't think about her, I cannot even desire another woman, I've rejected offerings from women that wanted to have sex with me, because she's the only one I want, the only one in my mind... could I say I feel these emotions because she is my twin flame? However, although I know the universe led me to take action to connect with my twin flame, and it was like a state of grace, one full of joy, excitement, enthusiasm, warmth, desire, ALL of it at once, on top of all those emotions, a primal instinct in me was activated, and that was my instinct to protect her. I met her in a place flooded with narcissistic people, and as I know from previous experiences in my life, the engine that drives narcissistic people is envy and fear, I decided to stay away from my twin for not to give anything to narcissistics that can enable their focusing on her, I don't trust in them for nothing. My mistake was not to let her know neither my feelings nor my strategy, so she now has a boyfriend, but the connection stills there... All what I have heard is that I must let go and grow myself, but I feel the need to tell her what I feel and what I was doing and what happened without the intention of her changing her mind, but for me not to drown here in this sea of emotions... What do you think in this case?
