hey hun here’s a tip (i’m a braider) when you first get your braids done don’t oil your scalp the first week wait until the second week. When you go and get your braids done make sure you haven’t just hair a fresh cut 9/10 clients who come with their hair either cut blunt or freshly cut it results in hair sticking out of the braids. LESS IS MORE with knotless they have potential to last long. Lastly when adding oil to your hair dont rub it in let it absorb naturally. also when i do my clients hair i use pink lotion before and maintaining the style it leaves your hair moisturized throughout the style !

Eboni Weaver i have really fine hair and mine can last 1 - 1 1/2 months. I would say oil because grease would cause you to have to rub it through your scalp.
