I've been singing gospel since i was 3 yrs. old. and im 23 now and are still singing his praises. that's the whole point in reading the bible. The bible says train a child in the way he should go and when he is older he will not depart from it. My family trained and taught me about the blood of Jesus and still today I cant help but to sing and tell the world about the blood that saved me. So keep on singing for Jesus baby! This young man reminds me of myself, back in the 70's i looked just like that. Now I'm old and have a 13 year old similiar to Michael. He has an "old spirit", I've had an "old spirit" for 35+ years, that's acquired from the environment you are raised in. He could be using inappropriate speech, singing secular music and a multitude of other things; instead he's uplifting the savior.

Praise God for Michael's anointing at such a young age. 1st Timothy says, "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, , in purity. Verse 14 says " Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. "We have no way of knowing if Michael is imitating someone else or walking in his own calling...but God knows. God will direct his path. I enjoy Michael's singing, and I'm blessed by it. His own single "Rapture" is actually posted up here. The comment simply meant that at 11 he could sing Slim's song that that he was trying to be Slim.
