I think that set bonuses work in bg. Though, legendaries special effects don't.

@@sdhsswim This is a buff coming from an azerite trait. After 9 starsurge you get an incarnation buff for 6 sec :)

Ive been doing a lot of research on twinking and was gonna start working on 4 of my 110s, but it would be to gear up and BG with XP off. I just read that bg queues will barely ever pop? True? How often are you able to get into bgs/ how long you have to wait?

You can't get into bg with xp locked. Queues take (literally) forever. You have to unlock xp. I didn't have too because everyone could bg together, until February.

None. Before, you could queue in regular queue with xp off.

is it possible to twink in the moment? i read in the comments that is not possible but i always play with People twinking (i only have legion) and i always see characters like Ortonn, Venics, Bestmode and the have bfa gear. how they twink?

I guess ye you can twink. But you'd have to turn xp on to be able to queue for bgs.

I have seen very good marksmanship hunters (with good mastery, they can easily outrange you and shot 15k+ aimed shot). I have seen a lot of DHs as well, because so many people gear them up for boosting. They are not the most offensive class but they really got good survivability. It's definitely not a bad idea to do one.
