Longhope and Blaisdon look to be lovely quaint villages, Patrick. Flaxley Abbey is a lovely building set amongst the woodlands, and St. Mary's church is of grand architecture with it's lovely spire. Blaisdon Hall and it's associated lodge are grand buildings too. At the top of the hill that view was remarkable, seeing the River Severn in the distance. A most enjoyable and peaceful film Patrick. Many thanks for the showing.

Thanks for watching and commenting Ffranc. Flaxley Abbey is a great building, although I don't think it's ever been open to the public. This was my first time if I recall going to Blaisdon, but the walk was certainly great for that view over the Severn you mention. All the best 👍

Congrats on over one thousand subscriber's, i hope many more find your wonderful channel. As always it was lovely to watch, what scenery and views but boy did you do some walking that day, you must have been tired out. Thanks for the work and tireless effort as always.
@solitaryrambler5 жыл бұрын
This was about 5 or 6 miles and took around six hours on the day to film, so the combination of all the filming with the walking is indeed tiring, but worth it if I can get a good film out of it at the end. Many thanks Kelly :)

Many thanks Peter. I've thought about Stoodley Pike, but we'll see as I'd like a break from all this once I've edited everything from last year. My Hebden Bridge film features a distant shot of the pike :)

Thank you Patrick for showing the beautiful countryside that surrounds us. I love my England! On average, how many miles do you cover on each of your walks? All the best.
@solitaryrambler5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Debbie. On average I cover about 5 miles per walk as it takes me a good six hours in a day to film a walk, so I try to do ones that are not too long! :)
