Any news on any new purchases for the defence forces?

Eoin They are supposed to be replacing the mowags and the Cessna planes and there is a new ship to be commissioned this year or the next and they have bought new drones from Israel this month but I was just curious as to see what they will be replacing the mowags with and the cessnas

Eoin no the Cessna are used for low flying patrol aircraft they wouldn't be able to equip weapons but what ever they get should be a step in the right direction, as for the replacement of the mowag as our main battle tank hopefully we could see some Leopard 2A's in the Irish cavalry in the future
