I love that you mentioned that knits last for a long time, I've got a sweater my grandma knit in the 80's that's still in pristine condition despite being worn a lot both by her and, nowadays, by me. It isn't unusual that hand or home knitted items get passed down for three or more generations in northern Sweden. It truly is something special about wearing the same sweater as your parent/grandparent/other dear relative wore when you were growing up.

I love your videos! A couple months back I Was diagnosed with panic disorder and agoraphobia (causes by too much stress). I couldn't do anything I liked anymore, because everything tiggered me: My favorite video games, TV shows, photoshoots (I am a photographer as well), could'nt even go on walks with my daughter, visit my course and not even listen tgo music I used to enjoy. And then I found YOUR channel. It was the only thing I could calm to, nothing triggered me. Everything is so calm. Not too much talk like many youtuber do. Just aesthetiics, great creative input and great tips on being yourself. You inspired me a lot in the last months. I don't live too far from where you live, maybe one day we can have a tea, geek out over Ghibli and laugh our anxiety together.

Most of my life I have worn dresses. I like the feel. Now i live in a climate with winters I find I wear warm corduroy pants and wool sweaters in the cold months. I will need to work on warm dresses. Your style is beautiful, and enjoyable to view.

I love dresses too! I am currently going through my closet to gift away all of my jeans/most of my pants. I love that you posted this now, it is just perfect timing! For a long time I wore things based on what was most common around me (jeans/ jean shorts and t shirts or leggings and t shirts)- which is great if you like them! When there is so much pressure to not be feminine, it is easy to not pay attention to what you naturally like. I am just going to wear what I like. I feel exactly like you describe wearing dresses.

Beautiful! I remember the blue dress from another video and it’s just fabulous. You must have felt like a gorgeous princess in that. I love your style. It suits you and is so classy. My style is very hippyish. I love all things thrifted and I love colour. I buy fabrics at the thrift store and love to sew and knit and crochet. Sometimes I go to the fabric store if the sale is really good and the fabric is natural like linen etc. The world wastes way to much on fast fashion due to over consumption because of fear of missing out on the latest thing. I'm 59 and wear dresses and tops with skirts with a vintage/slightly old-fashioned style because they're so much more comfortable, easy to style, and feminine. I haven't worn a pair of pants, not even pajama bottoms, for many years, though I saved a pair of khakis "just in case" but everything, even gardening, is fine and cooler in dresses. In my chifforobe, everything is organized by the rainbow which makes everything more beautiful.

WOw Our mindset is exactly the same when it comes to clothing choices! The only thing I'm jealous of is that you can wear knitwear. I look like a bulky snowman, and my femininity feeling are out the window, but on you, it looks so stunning! Another one of your beautiful, calming and thought provoking videos. My almost everyday go to outfit is a loose fit pair of Capri length yoga pants, with pockets, usually a tank top, ( I live in a beautiful and warm Mediterranean climate) and a practical, comfy shoe so I am ready for whatever the day presents: gardening, hiking, cooking, working around my house, spending time with grandkids….I keep my clothes for ever. I only have 3 pairs of yoga capris that are made very well, so they will last through it all. On an occasion that calls for something dressier, I have a few pair of ‘nicer’ capris or summery dresses and a nicer sandal. I have a few pairs of longer pants and a few jackets. Most of the other things in my closet were purchased or gifted decades ago, but I keep for sentimental reasons. All in all I have very few clothes. My shoes consist of walking shoes, sandals, rain boots and hiking boots. I wear mostly black, charcoal, white or blues, except for my colorful dresses. I don’t like to spend a lot of time thinking about what I’m going to wear, I want to get dressed and get on with my day! I totally agree with you about fast fashion, thrifting and upcycling of clothing. Patagonia is great. As you say, we should all wear what we feel is the best for us and our lifestyle.

A bit late, but still wanna comment😅 I am quite of opposite opinion, when it cones to dresses. It has always been mega difficult for me to find a dress, that would simply fit me right (I suppose, most of the fast clothes isn't made for someone who is a bit tall 173-175cm) So I thought that dresses will never be my thing. But your video inspired me to try and seek better quality stuff, which would actually suit me and fit my liking. Thank you for that❤

I love 👗I wear them for special occasions and ✈️. If I mention it I always get asked why I don't wear just a shirt and pants and it's because it's not as comfortable for me during a 2 to 4 hour ✈️. . .or longer for going overseas. It's much cooler and comfortable when a layover for me is easily 4 hours. Planning a trip to 🇮🇹 in a year or two and 90% of my wardrobe will be 👗. 😊 Beautiful vlog too.

I, too, love to wear dresses. They are just so comfortable and stylish. And easy too. Short dress for indoor. Long dress for outdoor. Easy when do business in the toilet too😂. I stop buying from fast fashion when my allergy got so bad due to indoor dust accumulated at the clothes. I got rid a whole lot of my clothes. And left with what is comfortable, long lasting, and easy to style. My new-found love is those flea market and pre-loved/used clothes shops❤❤❤when browse properly, i can always find gems there.

I am a big fan of wearing dresses too. I have always loved ones that are knee length or longer. It used to be because I had such skinny legs as a girl, but now it is just more comfortable for me. In the wintertime, I wear jeans though. Everything you have filmed here is gorgeous. I love that you have items you enjoy wearing and have kept and continue to wear. It is nice to see some of the outfits as you go through them in your closet and then show the piece from times you have filmed yourself in them. That's nice. There is something about a nice pair of overalls too. You have so much linen in your wardrobe which is the best.

i like your style! i think we have almost the same style, except for the hair, i use moslem hijab. When i was young, i like using jeans, because it's more comfort for riding bike (than skirt) and more stylish for school. But after got married some years ago, my style dominated by loose pants for outdoor activity and dress for activity at home. you're right. wearing home dress is soooo comfortable. 🥰

Đối với mình thì mình sẽ mặc đồ theo cảm giác. Nơi cho mình sự tự do và bay bổng, an toàn dù mình là ai và là gì thì mình sẽ chọn váy, những thứ nhẹ nhàng và tạo cho cơ thể cảm giác thư giãn nhất. Và khi ở môi trường cần mình luôn phản ứng ngay lập tức và trong trạng thái luôn luôn căng thẳng thì mình sẽ chọn chiếc quần dài, cho mình cảm giác an toàn trước đã, áo thì sẽ là chất liệu mềm mại nếu không quá căng thẳng, ôm nếu áp lực hơi căng và áo crop top nếu quá sức căng thẳng. Quần áo là cách giúp mình tự động viên bản thân mỗi khi nhìn vào gương, những khi ấy nó như nhắc mình nhớ mình đang ở đâu và đang ở thời điểm nào. Có lẽ bây giờ mình đã khác, thay vì mua những chất liệu vải không thoải mái thì mình bây giờ thích chọn quần áo chất liệu thoải mái hơn, có lẽ vì mình biết sự thoải mái mới là động lực tiếp bước cho mình dù mình ở đâu và nơi nào, nó như nhắc nhở một điều, " mình nên trân trọng cảm giác và cảm xúc của mình, cho dù mình đang ở đâu" - một cách kết nối với chính cơ thể này ❤

Whenever you drop a new video, I wait to watch it during my evening beauty routine to relax for the night. Clothing-wise, I was a huge tomboy (still am in many ways, but back then the height of style for me was a checkered shirt and a pair of corduroys haha) all the way till my 20's when suddenly something kicked in and I felt more connected to my femininity, grew my hair out and started wearing dresses. Took some experimentation to find my style but now that I'm there, I barely buy any new clothing, a few items a year, because i don't get bored of the things I have and they last so long (perhaps the biggest change as I matured was switching to practically all natural fibres - sometimes there'll be some elastan or [shudder] polyester in the trousers I buy, but that's about it. I love my wool, cotton and linen. They age so much slower and better, and feel so much nicer on your body!)
