Best tutorial I've seen for this, RDS is a bit of a mess in my opinion, but this made it simple.

Great! Do you need a CAL license to connect more than 1 user at the same time? Without a license can you connect 2 o 3 users simultaneously? Thank you!

You will need device or user CAL. Temporary CALs are assigned to you users which are valid for 90 days then if there isn't any permanent CAL your users won't be able to log in. You will also need RDS licensing server role.

When I went forward according your video. I could not go next step because of not owning valid RD license. It was displayed notice "Could not save the setting for RD Licensing. Error: Unable to set the license setting:" I own only Win2k19 evaluation version. What can be problem? and How to solve it. :-)

what is the different between this RDS and normal RDP connection?
@MSFTWebCast4 ай бұрын
RDP is protocol which enables users to access a desktop on a remote machine. At a time only one user can connect to server or client computer. On other hand, RDS is suite of tools that enables remote access to desktops and applications on remote computer. Multiple users can connect to RDS server using RDP protocol. There are multiple RDS services available like Remote Desktop Session Host, RD Web Access, RD Connection Broker and RD Gateway.
