IMHO and stat-wise the 113 is better. A pike nose is MUCH harder to peek corners with and the 113 is far better at sidescraping. The ONLY issue with the 113 is that it doesn't get full depression over the front. The 5A has 31 more dpm (Negligable) The 113 has 8mm more pen (Helpful but not vital 250-258 is not a big change) The upper plate on the 113 is stronger and easier to use than the pike nose on the 5A. The 111-5A has 244-277 effective - shooting as if your tank was 30 feet in front of it. The 113 has 250-290 effective - same angle (Wotinspector) The difference is that the 113 can peek around a corner and MASSIVELY increase the upper plate armor. 308mm-353mm at a 45 degree angle. At a 60 degree angle, it goes to 361mm-456mm. It becomes an amazing bait. Even your lower plate at 60 deg is 440mm effective. The 111-5A can't do that. On top of that, the 113 has 90mm of side armor whilst the 111-5A has 80. Normally, 10mm difference is nothing, but the effective use between 80 and 90 can be very significant while side-scraping. The 113 has 16.67 - The 111-5A has 15hp per ton. The 113 has 0.36 accuracy vs the 111-5A at 0.38 The 113 - Shells are 20m/s faster 113 has 0.75 accuracy on turret rotation. 111-5A has 0.79 Both have 7 deg of gun depression. Both have same traverse speed, fire chance, terrain resistance. Both have a 2.5 aim time. Both have 400m view range. Both have 50kph forward and 15kph reverse. The stats don't lie. The 113 is better by a similar amount to a brothers in arms skill. Even the hatches are harder to hit at full gun depression.

5a seems more modern, more suitable for todays random ) Wg have released rocket-boosting heavy tree, the bz on the pc version, so they have 3 now... mb on console the'll do the same )

Its strange i like more the 5A, but i get better games with the 113. Please dont talk gun depression is bad. Im trying the BAR, and OMG. What the hell is that.... No gun depression. Now i understand why so many use free XP to go to the tier 10...

Poor type 5 just get swiss cheesed by everything with prem. It is still a bully vs tier 8s, but even most tier 9s can slap it with prem.
