Yeah, but finding one in all those miles means there's not a lot out there.

Yup I camped there on my way to Stampede Pass in July. Nice spot.

I was really wondering if you do not look for balloons any longer…now I got the answer 😃. Do you use an Ursack or something like that now in Washington?

Yes, I have an Ursack. I think WA is also OK with us doing a bear hang.

In SoCal I figured I'd find over 100. It was hilarious to me to find at least one more before I finish. I'll still keep watching for them.
